The Post Adoption Resource Center at Judson Center provides a support group every second Thursday of each month at our Washtenaw office in Ann Arbor. We invite families who have adopted the opportunity to share their challenges, ideas and support and in exchange be supported by others! We provide dinner and child care. After dinner we split into two separate discussion groups, one for parents and one for kids. We ask that families RSVP to Jennifer Pedley at 734-794-2894 or Jennifer_Pedley@judsoncenter.org.
About Our Program: The PARC program at Judson Center recognizes the unique challenges facing families who have adopted children from the foster care system in Michigan. It is their desire to work together with local community resources to provide assistance to families who are facing challenges after their adoptions have been finalized. It is their hope to build networks of resources and community support for adoptive families in their communities. The PARC program supports families through crisis intervention, short term case management, information, referrals, education and support groups.

Nashville Gay Parents
We are a group of LGBT parents with infant to school-aged children. We meet monthly throughout the Greater Nashville area for kid-centered activities. Currently, more than 60 families are involved. Families vary from same gender male couples to same gender female couples to single parents. Many ethnicities and nationalities are represented. Families of children with exceptionalities are active.
We’ve done private and public MeetUps, from an Easter egg hunt at a home to a playday in a water park. While a monthly option is hosted, members are encouraged to use the on-line platform to create small cell groups for additional interest and geographic activities.
