Founded in 1985, Miriam’s Promise began with a simple but powerful mission: to ensure that no child is without a nurturing home and no parent is without support. Our name honors the biblical figure Miriam—a woman of courage and leadership—and our work continues her legacy by centering the voices and needs of those often overlooked.

Today, our services include:

Pregnancy Counseling: Free, confidential support for anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy. We offer options counseling without pressure or judgment.

Adoption Services: Home studies, matching, placement, and post-placement support for adoptive families of all backgrounds.

Post-Adoption Support: Lifelong resources for birth parents, adoptive families, and adoptees—including counseling, education, and community events.

Training & Education: Workshops and webinars on trauma-informed care, trans-racial adoption, and inclusive parenting.
