If you live in or near the New York City area, a fun event to take your kids during the summer is the Center Families Annual Picnic. Gay Parent magazine had a table at this year’s picnic on June 23, 2012. The event is free and includes face painting, games, crafts, music, magician, puppet show and food and drinks.
